Roof replacement is an expensive proposition, but our GBS, also known as “Great Black Stuff !” gives business owners an alternative to total roof replacement. If the roof system is leaking or approaching the end of its service life, applying GBS to the surface is the most cost effective way of sealing your roof from leaks and extending its life. Applying GBS to the surface will eliminate the leaks and when top coated with CoolFlex® T-1 Top Coat, the roof temperature is lowered, thus saving on cooling costs.

Adhesion to a variety of substrates including single ply, old tar roofs, rolled roofs, concrete decks, galvanized and pre-finished metal, and foam systems
Ease of use-can be applied by spray, brush or roller. Cleans up with soap and water Does not contain any toxic materials or have any hazardous emissions
When top coated with T-1 Roof Coat, it is an excellent reflectant - lowering roof temperatures which saves on cooling cost and reduces detrimental roof movement
High elasticity and tensile strength assure superior ability to resist damage from penetration and to withstand abrasion from foot traffic. GBS does not require granules or ballast to achieve abrasion resistance, yet remains flexible down to -15 degrees

Great Bitumen Sealer (GBS) is a water-borne coating based on a polymer emulsion of styrene and bitumen blend. GBS does not contain solvents, is not flammable, and does not emit hazardous vapors.
